When is the office open?

The Evanston office is open Monday to Friday 9:00 to 5:00 with some evening hours available. The St. Francis office is also open one Saturday a month. The Holy Cross office is generally open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The Archer office is open Wednesday afternoons and one Friday morning a month. Examinations and consultations are by appointment only.

We have 3 Chicagoland offices. They are located at

Do you have Saturday or evening hours?

Yes, the Evanston office is open one Saturday a month and evening hours are available in Evanston by appointment only.

Do you accept credit card payments?

Yes, we accept Master Card and Visa.

How long have you been in practice?

Dr. Bruce Golden began the practice in 1975. Dr. Carrie Golden-Brenner joined him in 1987 and Dr. Mary Hoffman joined the practice in 1995.

Are the doctor’s board certified?

Yes, Dr. Carrie Golden-Brenner, Dr. Mary Hoffman, and Dr. Bruce Golden are all board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. They are also Fellows of the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons.

How do you get to the office?

Who does the Botox and Restylane injections?

All of the Botox and Restylane injections are done by either Dr. Carrie Golden-Brenner or Dr. Mary Hoffman. None of the injections are done by a non-physician.

Who does the aesthetic lasers?

Most of the procedures are performed by Chrys Stoyas, COT who has a bachelor of science degree and much additional training. She is a LPN and is certified to perform photofacial and hair removal. If desired, the procedures can also be done by Dr. Carrie Golden-Brenner.
